I was very impressed with their costumer service, support and knowledge. I had to buy a violin for my daughter last month but I’m completely ignorante in the subject. The person that help me was extremely knowledgeable and caring, suggested what was best for my daughter and not necessarily what costs more... she will soon grow her violin out and I will go back to them time and time again, in fact I think if my daughter is ready we will start taking extra lessons there! Thank you for all your help, information and patience!

Ebony & Ivory are an absolutely superb music shop and a perfect example of a wonderful local, independent music shop. The shop has been trading for as long as I can remember, I am now in my late 20's and I remember buying my piano books from them as a young schoolboy of around 11 years old. I felt compelled to write this review as It's always amazingly reassuring to know that I have such a terrific music shop which is only a short walk up the road and is a place where I can buy anything from new quality strings for my guitar as well as a new guitar capo, the latter I purchased from them just today. I can even purchase a beautiful new piano if I were on the look out for one. The staff and owners of the shop are all sincerely lovely people and they ensure that it is always an absolute pleasure to pop in, say hello and have a little look around the store. I will be back there again very soon indeed - I'll be straight there as soon as I need new guitar strings for sure :-)

There is a highly professional, dedicated, very attentive singing teacher Aurelia at The Ebony and Ivory. She helped me a lot with my breathing and opened up my voice - I now can reach the notes I never thought I would. Highly recommended.

We have been attending the Ebony and Ivory music school for a few years now and every lesson is a delight. The teachers are all experienced and teach impeccably well. We have had the piano teacher Ausrine, an incredible person and has taught the three of my daughters to play piano with emotion and love.
