Rang to get information about registering a birth in Switzerland. 15 mins later still listening to recording to direct calls in English and their foreign translation. Then office closed before I got through. Very frustrating

They are, by far from my own experience with several embassies, the MOST PROFESSIONAL and HELPFUL Embassy I've ever encountered with. Short context, I currently live in Ireland and was offered work in Switzerland. As a Non-EU resident here in Ireland, the Swiss Consulate in London is the only place where I can process a national long-term visa as well as my husband's family reunification permit. As a Non-EU, this means I had to renew my UK visa, fly there, and with the added difficulty of the pandemic, everything seemed impossible and looked like I would not be able to move to Switzerland. However, the Swiss Embassy has been extremely helpful and flexible. The staff understood my situation, were very flexible in offering several options for me, and were very prompt and understanding in answering all of my questions and concerns. They followed up on me several times, with the most clear communication and instructions I've ever received during all contact points from an Embassy. Our visas arrived early and they were very kind to help with the posting all the way here to Ireland. I could not say enough thank you to the whole staff for helping make our move to Switzerland possible. Highly highly recommend, 10 stars out of 5! I wish all Embassies would be as helpful and professional as them, gold standard!
