What great entertainment for 3.50, save a 1 when you buy online beforehand. But lots of different packages online if you want a fuller experience. Not busy at all, had the cable car to myself and all the staff were very smart, friendly and helpful. Takes about 10mins, plenty of time to take lots of amazing photos. The cable cars were spotless inside and very comfortable :)

I wanted to try the Emirates Air Line cable car since it launched in 2012... The location was easy enough to get to, Royal Victoria (DLR) is very close by along side the local buses. The place itself was a strange layout at first but i understand why. You can use a Oyster card here which is great but i think you can buy a standard ticket over the counter too. The views from one of these journeys are outstanding, the intake of things to see and notice is mind blowing. I think i enjoyed it more than the missus did... Experience it for yourself.
The best line cable car to use if you’re on a budget! Enjoy the nice view of London and the beautiful Thames. One ride costs 3.50 which you can pay for by using your contactless card or Oyster card or you can just buy a ticket at the counter. The trip is about 10 minutes and that’s 10 minutes of a lifetime experience. Don’t be disappointed by the pictures, I used an old phone to take these, the view was much beautiful in person. I used this during the night and the city looked beautiful but I would advise you to use it during the day so you can have a more spectacular view and take nice pics.
One of the lift stations for the Emirates Air Line cable car run by Transport for London. It's usually much quieter, and not much queues here compared to Emirates Greenwich Peninsula. Overall, great experience, easy paying options, and an amazing day out! It might not be all that enjoyable when you're sharing a car with another family (most of the time this isn't the case), but the view is worth it.
