Have been coming here since it was called \Empress of Sichuan\ - A good friend of mine from Beijing introduced me to it! The restaurant itself is nothing special (if anything a bit more quiet / private / polished than the average Chinatown joint) but the food is consistently outstanding. Tongue-numbing Szechuan peppercorns highlight very well cooked classics. My go-tos are the cold chicken in chilli oil, lantern beef, double cooked pork belly and their sea bass. For non-chinese customers they will tone down the spice to (semi) manageable levels - But if you want a \proper\ kick make sure to let them know!

Best Sichuan cuisine in London! I used to live in Chengdu for 4 years, and had so much authentic and great Sichuan food there. After trying many restaurants in London, I was a bit disappointed as they were not spicy and good as expected. But this place is sooo good!! Definitely recommend this restaurant, if you’d like to try real Sichuan dishes.
We’ve decided on something spicy for dinner tonight and picked Szechuan. This restaurant did not disappoint. The dishes were tasty and surprisingly authentic ! The 水煮鱼 or Szechuan boiled fish is one of the best I’ve tasted.
I appreciated the steps they're going through considering the pandemic firstly. Me and my boyfriend got hotpot as we've been craving it and our usual place wasn't available. The hotpot was really spicy and so delicious (exactly how we wanted it) the pickles and extra condiments were a lovely treat and we were stuffed! I'm only giving a 4 star because there wasn't as much variety on the list as other places but all the main food was there and it was all good regardless.
Great authentic Sichuan food and portion, fair prices, would definitely love to go back!
