Good kitchens don’t need to have a huge variety of dishes but do a few dishes really well. Fusé doesn’t offer a big variety but does Japanese Karage really well with simple ingredients. Available with chicken or as vegetarian option with tofu. I’m now a regular!

This is authentic and totally delicious Japanese food packed with vibrant flavours that will remind you of Japan if you've eaten there. I always get the fried chicken (kara age) with Japanese mayo (kewpie); rice instead of chips (during summer, it always came with sour plum; now in fall it has mushroom); and I get both sides: the cherry tomatoes in spicy miso dressing, and wasabi cucumbers. Meals also come with a side salad with an amazing dressing that tastes of yuzu and sansho pepper. They do everything right! And the chef running the counter is really warm and friendly.
