The Gail’s offer usually a selection of unique bread types like spelt or Rye Bread, but unfortunately not due the COVID season. So we just had our breakfast over here. Pretty nice options for have in with Coffee, hot coco late and tea. The rolls, bun and croissants are pretty good, but also coming with the price. However, it is nicely located on the Wimbledon village.

A little hit and miss where enforcement of social distancing goes, to say nothing of keeping people even marginally separated. Still, this is probably the only Gail's in London that does a solid line in coffee and pastry instead of the one-or-the-other approach you get (looking at the shabby Blackheath one for example).

The staff was very friendly and the coffee was good. However, we sat down inside to have our coffees and there were not distancing measures re COVID-19. Tables were not distant from each other, a full family sat literally next to us (less than 3ft) and overheard staff offering any available table/sit to customers. There were customers without a mask and staff was not asking them to wear one. Any other place I’ve been during the pandemic arranged distancing between customers, we didn’t feel safe or comfortable. Bad first experience at Gail’s

Personel in bakery not very attentive for costumers, I got my coffee without asking if I would like sugar, I had to ask for it, then male employee pass sugar together with stirrers and lay them on bench where everybody collect hot drinks, touch this space, disgusting. Had to ask 4 more times for some extra sugar as 2 employees on coffee area too busy with chat, followed by strange comment from female that she is in her day off (not sure it was to me or what was reason of such information). Awkward and not really pleasent expierence.
