Unfortunately you now have to request the key to use the toilet at Homerton Library, which is kept behind the reception desk. I suspect this is to stop the homeless using the toilets, which I find upsetting as this is supposed to be a community environment anyway. I also have a digestive disorder and need to use the toilet frequently but feel embarrassed to ask and it is out of my way if I am in the study area upstairs. This is really disgusting and it never used to be like this. I now feel like I am not welcome at this library and it is impacting my ability to study in a quiet place. Sort it out as it is completely unfair to those with disabilities who may need the toilet quickly and frequently.

Been living in this area for four years. The staff has always been friendly, kind, and happy to assist whomever is at the desk (their rapport with children is especially encouraging you see). The collection is a bit feeble but that is more the fault of the council - and lack of funds - than the staff.
