After having such as busy start to my day holding meetings with investors, sorting through piles of emails, and not to mention trying to persuade the little ones to eat their veggies at breakfast; I was definitely in need of a relaxer for lunch. Upon doing my usual lunch breaks at Subway, I was greeted by the manager, Abubuker, of the Kush 1070 BC restaurant in Shepherd's Bush. Delighted to greet a curious customer, he welcomed me to a complimentary samosa on a platter; of which tasted lovely, so I decided to stay for lunch. The menu was filled with a range of Turkish, Persian, Arabic, and African dishes that all sounded great, feeling indecisive, I went with a mix dish that had a little bit of everything, consisting of falafels, aubergine slices with olives, and a well-seasoned pancake. It was simply amazing!

Such a nice restaurant and tasty Mediterranean food
Amazing soups and really good great mains as well, for really reasonable prices. The drinks were pretty interesting as well (like icy slushies). I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Do keep in mind this restaurant is more of a leisurely meal - I spent about an hour and a half here with drinks, soups, main, and dessert for 2 (for 26)
Fantastic, delicious food. Such variety and each and every dish was so full of wonderful flavours. The guava with milk drink was equally yummy. We ordered a combo of meat and veggie dishes to reflect the eaters' requirements at the table. The lovely staff are also conscious about allergies so let them know if you have a peanut intolerance as some of the sauces contain peanuts. Will come and order from here on a regular basis-- our new go-to.
Really loved the food, it's the most diverse Sudanese menu I've seen and reminds me of my time there. The staff are really friendly and attentive, I came to visit this place with my mum and we were both happy. Would definitely come here again :) The decor needs a little work and would have preferred warmer lighting but it didn't affect us much.
Wonderful tasty food. Extremely reasonably priced. Great little secret in Shepherds Bush. Decor needs a bit of updating/sorting but hopefully this will improve as it becomes more popular. Good luck, you deserve to do well.
I love this place! I come here every few days and enjoy different meat dishes. Love their red tomato, meaty-taste sos with as well as others they offer - aubergine, peanut or hummus soses. They opened recently and still are organising themselves, but I hope that people get to come and try their food and the place stays in business !! :)
Good food. Extremely slow and disorganized service. Tried to overcharge, either out of carelessness or on purpose, couldn't tell.
