My elderly mother had a 20 ft high Robinia tree in her garden which needed felling. I thought I would get 3 estimates for price comparison. I contacted online a total of six tree surgeon firms and only two came back to me. One didn't feel he wanted to take the whole tree down and only Liam McGough actually quoted me for felling the tree. As it happened I felt the quote was fair. He gave me a date for the job and he and his team turned up on time on the appointed day. The job was done quickly and efficiently and they cleared up and left us with no mess. On the occasions when I contacted Mr Mc Gough by phone he always answered straight away, no voicemail. In short, he acted like all companies should act but frequently don't. I thoroughly recommend him and would use him again.

We commissioned Liam McGough Tree Services to remove a very sizeable tree stump we'd inherited in our back garden from the previous owner. Through absolutely no fault of their own and sheer bad luck, the stump grinder developed a fault while they were part way through. Some firms might've jacked in the job in to return at a later date, but the team of Garth, Rob and Danny refused to leave the stump as it was and valiantly rolled up their sleeves to break it down and remove it by hand! It was back-breaking work but they did a fantastic job and left the garden neat and tidy afterwards. We were very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to employ the firm's services again.
