Having taken a career break as a 30th birthday present to himself, Ben decided to focus on what is important to him away from the desk. After spending more time in the community and building up a good rapport and friendships over the next 6 months, the global lockdown hit. With no government support available due to his recent self-employment and realising the unlikely possiblity of returning to office work in the near future, Ben kept small and local businesses alive by delivering supply boxes out by foot from the local cafe to local residents.
