2020 has by all accounts been an insane year, add to this insanity the need to manage an emigration from one continent to another and you're setting yourself up for hours of stress and worry. Luckily, I had approached London Relocation to assist me with finding a place to rent and I was quite specific in the requirements I had - especially that it HAD to be pet-friendly. In no time they were actively going to places to see, photograph and video them for me and collaborated well in finding the perfect place. I was due to arrive in April, but have (due to the pandemic) arrived in October - but thank goodness I had Sascha and Merit from LR keeping an eye on our place for me and going well and truly beyond what I'd paid for in terms of organising and helping me setup as much as possible from abroad. I can recommend London Relocation for assistance in finding a rental when emigrating or moving to London without hesitation and over the months, they've experienced me as frustrated, elated and at times difficult. Always with the same level of professionalism, respect, tolerance and happiness no matter how difficult or easy I was behaving as a client.
Amazing end-to-end relocation service We began our relocation in November 2019 shortly after my wife and I decided to relocate from Seattle to London. London Relocation had very positive reviews all-around and we have a very good first impression. The team was there to help from the initial intake until well-after we moved into our home. The company has a defined process with in-depth housing requirements to ensure they find the right homes, neighborhood and school district that would suit us the best. They searched and brought back a large (25-35) list of properties meant to give them better insight on our preferences. With all of this being done virtually, they took great care in returning a final list of properties, each one they toured before presenting to us. We short-listed about 5-7 homes and Shanti conducted detailed video tours of each place. They weren’t pushy and didn’t rush us to decide. On a few occasions, they slowed-us down to ensure we chose the right place. They went back to specific properties to conduct follow-up virtual tours. They made it very easy and helped with handling all the negotiations. It seems they have relationships with, or know, a majority of the letting companies in London. After finding “the one” house in Richmond we truly couldn’t pass-up, they helped put an offer together, gave guidance on how much to offer based on the market and made it happen. We ended up choosing the house in Southwest London with all criteria being met, totally exceeding our expectations. They handled the check-in process and while we had to address a few unforeseeable maintenance issues with the property, they made it very easy, working on our behalf with the letting agent, to ensure all post move-in items were addressed to our satisfaction. I’d recommend London Relocation, especially those relocating with family and/or kids. They worked diligently on our behalf to ensure all our needs were met and that we were 100% satisfied.
We could not have done our move to the UK without them. Our flat search day was so well put together and professional. Sonya was always gracious and responsive. Very highly recommended.
With only one month ahead of us, we had to find a pet friendly place in London right before Christmas. Not an easy task here! London Relocation called after a few hours of writing to them and in a few days they arranged an assessment call to discuss in details our needs. We traveled to London two weeks after for the property search and in a few hours we found the right place for us and our cats in a beautiful location. Shanti and Sascha were responsive all the time, very friendly and incredibly patient. Their assistance went beyond our expectations, they made the whole process running very smoothly. They have always been there for us, ready to help and assist even after we moved in. Philly guided us on the house hunting day. She managed to squeeze in a last minute view that was not in our schedule which turned out to be the winning one. We found a dream place! A special thanks to Zoe who assisted us when we moved in on December 23rd. We definitely recommend London Relocation to anyone who lives in London and wants to find a new place or, like us, is moving here from abroad.
