Pointless service! Recite back the council's judgement and have no discretionary powers to look at the case from a drivers point of view. You are better off paying all the council tickets without questioning as this only leads to you wasting time and paying as full ticket after a lot of haggling anyway. Don't bother.

Absolute SellOuts...Thieves. They basically work for the Councils and TFL. U can be mugged on TFL roads a 100 times . No cameras will have captured the incident. But as soon as You Stop/Park/Wait on any road for even 20 SECONDS, a camera would have found You and they will be very quick to send u a PCN Ticket/Fine.. Most adjudicators work on bribes from TFL. Most are miserable Lonely Sad Pathetic Divorced individuals...

Requested postal decision because of Covid-19. For some reason the adjudicator phoned me on my decision date asking few questions. He agreed the suspended bay was poorly signed and allowed my appeal, which was good considering the councils perspective was entirely unbalanced and one-dimensional. Also the customer service were pretty good at answering my queries pre-appeal. Think at the end of the day it can depend on which adjudicator you get.

1) It is common sense to start off by first realising it is obvious that a solicitor or lawyer who practises in or near London and acting as an adjudicator in the London Tribunals will begin with a high probability of conflict of interest because their firm wants to take on any future local councils' huge legal businesses or remain in their good books if they have existing businesses with them. 2) Then the next thing you need to think about is to consider what you are appealing. If you are appealing against something that is a cash cow for a council such as a particular traffic camera or road restriction that generates millions (literally), the adjudicator is not inclined to favour you because it will rock the boat and set the possible precedent that previous claimants can demand their penalties back from the council (come to millions!) This was my experience that though I spent a lot of work to justify why I should be permitted to be let off the penalty notice because of a poorly painted sign not painted for 11 years (according to the own admission by the Roads Maintenance Dept according to my Freedom of Information request) which changed into a different road sign because of uneven wearing of the paint, this was not considered in my appeal that I was forced to undertake certain action that triggered the penalty. My other evasive actions were ruled out despite me showing that it was technically under the driving speed to do so even with mathematical calculations of speed and braking distance. So the moral of the story is that if your appeal does not affect the above points 1 and 2 then, maybe you should appeal. Otherwise, it is a waste of time, effort and money. Had they used retired solicitors with no conflict of interest, then it may be fairer. But as it stands, it is not a fair process because of the conflict of interest (potential or otherwise).

After fighting with the council for issuing me a parking ticket in a 3 car parking bay which didn't have any time plate or restriction I wrote to the council three times with multiple photography / video evidence they refused all three request. The warden did NOT take any pictures of the \imaginary\ time plate that I ignored . I turned my case over to London tribunal and sent all the evidence that I sent to the council they looked into the case and gave me a fair trial and cancel the PCN. Because of covid-19 I was offered a telephone interview. I wont say your name but I just want to say thank you Sir for giving me a fair trial. Case was on 02/10/20 @ 12:00.
