High quality shoe repair! I took my 7 year old ugg boots in for a repair - I’d torn a hole in both toes from wear but the rest were fine. Hoping to upcycle rather than buy new the guys at Matthew’s shoe repair did a brilliant job. I’d expected a patch that didn’t look any good and instead got a beautiful toe cap, looking squish and adding a few years to the life of my Ugg’s!

Had some rubber sole protectors added to a couple of pairs of leather-soled shoes. Really pleased with the workmanship and more than happy to support a quality local business, especially in the current climate. Will definitely do business with again. Thanks!

This is the second time this excellent shoes and leather goods repair shop has come to my rescue. The first was a ballet flat slipper which a spaniel took a fancy to. It was restored to its original elegant finish and now more recently a small handbag with an insert zip. Fiddly but perfectly carried out. This is the best quality work out of Jermyn Street.

I have recently taken 3 pairs of boots to this repairer. one was almost beyond saving. He did such a brilliant job all three look perfect and will clearly last some more years. Highly recommended

The only thing worse than a strap breaking on your favourite sandals is when it happens on your way to a meeting with no change of shoes available, and that is what happened to me this time last year. Luckily there was a cobbler close by who magically repaired the strap for me there and then and, although a little later than planned, allowed me to turn up to my meeting looking as I had intended. This year the same strap broke on the other foot but still, I couldn’t bring myself to let these sandals go so I asked the same cobbler to repair the second shoe for me. This strap suffered a worse tear so it was more complicated, but what a result! See the photo below. There are just too few expert cobblers left – this is definitely an address worth knowing.
