My experience at Metro Charity Woolwich Branch over the past 2yrs (ish) so far has saved my life & can't thank the Charity, its support officers, advocates & facilitators enough. As a queer, trans-n.b person with mix-disAbility & neuro-diversity; Metro charity have provided invaluable support though many instances of health issues, discrimination &/ service inaccessibility with healthcare, LA depts & DWP. Especially during the lock-down(s); the online adult MH drop in has been a great place to safely meet friends / peer support, which has really kept me going. Nothing is ever perfect, especially in these times! but, I've always felt able, safe & respected to raise issues, be heard & have trust that all staff do care & are working hard to try to provide the best service anyone can/ be aware & overcome issues. In addition to salt of the earth 1&1 support; Metro staff have provided great signposting, links & referrals to further support when needed. It's really meant a lot Metro charity try to be accessible & inclusive of our rainbow community as a whole. My only critique (if any), - appreciate this is due to lockdown, but it would be great if the young peoples counselling for kids could be re-opened soon, & maybe a few workshops around reducing biases within MH drop-in/ across our community as a whole would be valuable in the long run. More language accessibility inclusion for the charity as a whole is needed, although appreciate so much hard work is already going in to this by amazing individual staff @ metro & much progress is being made. Thank you for support during these really hard times & helping to rebuild resilience, healthy focus & wellness, overcome hate & discrimination. Massive Queer Love to all Metro Charity Staff !!

It’s way far from being an ambassador of equality and diversity. Very unsettling... some of the people there seems friendly, but overall it seems that they do not care really about anything but themselves.

They have had dodgy people working at their youth club. An incident where a worker sent naked pictures to a young person. I was also once called in the middle of the night by a worker. Was nice went to the youth club for a year or so. I started to have issues where I was being picked on during the youth club session and stalked afterwards and there were attempts to isolate me by other members. I told the leader of the group with messages as proof and he dismissed it and said "You are adults now". Made me stop going and took me a whole year to build up the courage to talk to them about it. They sent me 2 emails saying they were trying to contact the culprit and were working to resolve the issue but I never heard back since. They do NOT deal with issues at the youth club what so ever and turn a blind eye to bullying.

Sadly has it give one star! I totally agree with Natalia and Vincent, had similar issues myself. The response is an insult as NO-ONE was interested when I tried to raise this directly with you so its just lip service.
