The setting is nothing fancy but the food is good, hearty and tastes like home cooking. The service was really friendly, we really enjoyed our dinner here.

Awful experience. The person at the till did not speak English at all, it was very difficult to order even by pointing to dishes. Could not ask about the ingredients for the same reason. We sat at a table, which was a great effort as the tables and chairs asre squashed in a way that only one of us could sit first then pull the table towards them so the other person would squeeze in. Eventually the food served was lukewarm. Tea and coffee ordered was in very small cups and only three quarters full. Was difficult to pay as well with the same person who was not speaking English. Minutes later both of us who dined there (we chose two different dishes), ended up not feeling well, with stomach ache and diarrhoea. Surely the food was not fresh served seemed prepared in advance and not even heated properly. Regretted every penny spent there. Would give zero stars if i could. Btw hygiene/food rating was 3 a year ago... well, not a place i would recommend
