Beautiful place and so relaxing.
Dreadful experience for several reasons. Firstly, there are no signposts to the various ponds and the one lido spread across a very huge park stretching for miles. Prepare for a long walk in the heat with kids unless you know the area well. Once we finally reached the mixed pond, there was nowhere to sit down. The only area for putting a blanket down is really small (about 5 metres X 20 for hundreds of visitors) and restricted by high fencing right by the toilets which are very unclean. The pond is fenced so there are no alternatives for sitting down. In this tiny, fenced, dirty crammed area, a lot of people smoke cigarettes , drugs and some even decide to make out. Very unacceptable if you are going with kids or simply prefer not to inhale heavy smoke. The water is really murky and there is glass in the muddy area if you happen to touch with your feet. The pond however is very deep and you cannot feel the ground for the most part if you remain in the middle. On a really hot day, the water was still cool. I found the staff acceptable, but they really must keep the place sanitary and ban smoking altogether.
