I have recently been treated for slipping rib syndrome by Dr Panagiotopoulos. I had been suffering with pain form an undiagnosed injury for nearly 18months, life was miserable and I had several scans and tests to no avail. After finally suspecting slipping rib I contacted Dr Panagiotopoulos. Following my email enquiry I spoke with him at length and he felt he might be able to help me. So a consultation and dynamic ultrasound was arranged promptly. As I was having to travel down from Sheffield he very kindly arranged for the consultation and dynamic ultrasound to be completed on the same afternoon. This confirmed the condition of slipping rib syndrome. He then arranged for me to have surgical intervention to solve my issue. From my initial contact and throughout my diagnosis and treatment he always took the time to listen to me and answer any questions. I really can't stress this enough. I have seen a lot of clinicians over the 18 months trying to get a diagnosis and no one took the time and interest that Dr Panagiotopoulos did. He gave me hope that after coming to a dead end time and time again there might actually be a way of fixing what had been causing my pain and get my life back. I am now three weeks post op and although still sore from the surgery I feel the procedure was very successful. I can't praise Dr Panagiotopoulos enough, not only for the surgery but for his time and care from the very outset of contacting him. A great surgeon and a great person.
