Used to be a good company but I they've really gone downhill so I have switched. I submit meter readings every month and every month I get my bill with an estimated read!! I submitted my final meter reading through online chat and had them send me the chat transcript and the final bill still came as estimated and they say they never got my meter read. I sent them the chat transcript to forward for a complaint but I don't think they actually look into this. They need to do an investigation as to why their systems are failing!

we move to OVO Energy based on customer review on the trustpilot. they changed our metre to a smart one but the engineers didn't do the job properly and the cables in the isolator burnt and melted so we lost power supply for one day ,I contacted them to fix the issue and provided them with the pictures but they wouldn't fix the issue and asked me to get an engineer to verify if it is been there ingenious food. They left us with no power and exposed electricity wiring.
Customer service and communications is absolutely shocking. Collections called me every day for weeks asking for money, despite me raising a case with them multiple times. Eventually they refunded and credited my account (without telling me) after weeks of their harassment. There was no acknowledgement that they were in the wrong and shouldn't have been chasing me. Repeatedly asked to make a 'goodwill' payment to stop them harassing me, despite them being in the wrong - which is extortion! Each time you ring them, it's a different person who knows nothing about your account, and you have to explain the situation all over again. Infuriating, incompetent and stressful company to deal with.
The worst electric company. Never answer there phones and when they do leave you on hold for hours and more. I would advise everyone to fully avoid this company.
I've been with OVO four years. Their service is impeccable - good communication and prices. I love the smart system which phones back daily usage to view on personal webpage.
