Love this little Aladins cave of a shop. Doesn't look much from the outside and is a bit of a jumble within, but it just adds to the charm and overall experience - hunting stuff out and having a good rummage is half the fun. Have recently purchased Zara trousers (4), Gap t-shirt (3), HM jeans (4) and 4 lovely grey glazed plates (3) all fantastic quality - the jeans have been made into shorts already! Definitely worth a visit.

Horrified finding out that the owners were shut down by Rspca for neglecting the animals and keeping them in appalling conditions at their animal rescue centre.

This shop claims to be a charity, but it is not registered with the Charity Commission

The Paws Charity Shop is a rather SX size second hand goods selling shop. The management is quite strict, yet leaving employee told me only she cared about display, cleanliness and tidiness (she had been an excellent customer service skills friendly woman). There is a 1 rail which is ok but one can rather not find much there. Overall prices are quite high for such small a little dusty and disheveled charity shop. There is something romantic and quite vintage about it like in some old movies. One can spot there gems of wardrobe but price is not negotiable no matter how much you spend unless you are one of closest to manageress regulars, than you can receive great deal price. Staff can get jumpy. If you knock a garment of rail with Shoulder by accident you can be told off like a naughty child and when you hear to leave shop at end of opening it is better to do so immediately. It is advice out of experience. Three customers in the shop is already a tight crowd needing to give each other way of pass. Bargains happen and certainly I had come across more than one there in past. I recently had only kept acquaintance with staff and felt there must had been changed which had not served me. Still it is ok place to pop in and out when in Tooting. Staff is a little theatrical and eccentric which adds finesse to overall experience. I have not invited there any of my visitors to benefit of other big charity shop only few yards away. Paws is an ok charity shop and it supports animals I love. I prefer other Paws personally: the Tooting Broadway and especially excellently managed one in Battersea. I would recommend the Paws to rather not too sensitive client. Enjoy. Thank you.
