Piano Week in December 2020 was a wonderful experience. I am a piano/music novice with just over a year experience and as an adult learner, I wanted an experience with first rate teachers in a comfortable environment to gauge where I was and how to move forward. Piano Week exceeded every expectation. I was able to work on a variety of pieces and accomplished several \firsts\ - performing in front of others (virtually), composing, improvisation, while also getting wonderful coaching on how to polish a piece, how to start a piece, technical exercises, organizing practice time, etc. I walked away inspired by the quality of the teachers and grateful they were able to connect with a novice player, pick me up where I was and give me some tools to move forward! Wonderful chance to get focused exposure to world class musicians and teachers. I took the class remotely from the comfort of home but the logistics and attention to detail were very professional! Wonderful professional staff, great participants - highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time at pianoweek. It lifted my spirits during this difficult period of Covid 19. It was a privilege to work with so many distinguished pianists and to hear them play. Pianoweek adopts a holistic approach, the composition, harmony and improvisation classes contributed greatly to my musical development. The one to one classes were world class. I really felt that I got value for money given the number of classes I had. What was really heartening was to see how everyone on the course gets such lovely feedback from the faculty and there was a sense of being part of a lovely supportive group. Now that I have been adopted by the pianoweek community I would love to meet everyone again.

A great summer school for nervous amateurs like myself! Very friendly and informal atmosphere. A varied timetable encompassing one-on-one lessons, duets, composition, history of piano, pedalling tips, performance (informal and more formal varieties available) and more. You can join in with as much or little as you like so a great introduction to festivals and summer schools if you've been nervous about attending one before. The teachers are all friendly and want to help you improve. A great mix of student attendees - all ages and levels. The other students were very supportive and there were lots of opportunities to share stories, tips, tricks and ideas about other resources for piano students. Highly recommended!

My son has just spent an inspiring week with Piano Week and asked to return next year after day 1! It was a wonderful experience for him to be taught by top concert pianists who all taught with great enthusiasm and passion. We cannot recommend it highly enough to all!

Having been to Piano Week twice now I absolutely loved every single experience. No matter what your goal is, PW got something to offer and tailor around your needs, such as composition, performance, technical aspect and many more. As a conservatoire student my main focus is to improve my recital repertoire. As a result, every time I go back I go for lessons with the outstanding faculty and take part in as many performance opportunities as possible (roughly 3/4 times throughout the week). I find the performance space very enjoyable and it definitely help with confidence building in an extremely friendly and supportive environment. On top of that, is great to see how everyone can progress so much throughout the week under the guidance of highly experienced pianists!
