I had a hip replacement by Professor Ghoz in July 2020. He explained everything thoroughly and put me at ease. His surgical skills left only a small scar, I would highly recommend him.

The care and patience that Professor Ali Ghoz has given to me, with my hip replacement surgery has been outstanding. Professor Ghoz operated on me in July 2020, during the COVID pandemic. I had been suffering pain, avoiding surgery and having endless steroid injections for over 2.5 years. I contacted Professor Ghoz and we had numerous video calls where I explained my situation and we were able to discuss my needs and concerns. We also had email exchanges and these were answered promptly. Professor Ghoz is warm and friendly. He alleviated my anxieties giving me the confidence to proceed with surgery. I had Arthritis in my left hip, an inflamed hip bursa and a tight IT Band. Professor Ghoz rectified all three issues in one operation and after 7 weeks, I am now on the road to recovery and getting back to a normal life. I cannot express my thanks enough to Professor Ghoz for his time, patience, expert advice and care. He gave me the confidence to proceed with the operation during these very worrying times. It is likely that due to Arthritis, I will need my right hip replaced. When that time comes, I will be asking Professor Ali Ghoz to undertake that operation too, hopefully using the Anterior approach.

Professor Ali Ghoz was a great specialist consultant and surgeon to me. He was able to book and perform my surgery in a short amount of time before flying back to university. He went into great detail to answer all my questions and concerns before having my surgery to ensure I was comfortable and explained that is was the best decision for my future. After my surgery he has given me many updates and helped me through my recovery. After his work on my Hip arthroscopic surgery the pain I had before had gone and I have made excellent recovery to where I have almost completed my recovery in 6 months. Many thank you to Professor Ali Ghoz in performing my surgery and allowing me to continue playing sports pain free
