Absolutely brilliant service rugs and runners that had last seen their best over 60 years ago brought up to scratch - repaired and cleaned to perfection. Colours and patterns that had lost their shine brought back to life. Thoroughly recommend them - their skills speak volumes - like anything this good it takes time but it is well worth the wait - you will not be disappointed
I'd like to thank everyone at RL Rose London for the repair of an oriental rug which I inherited. I was considering throwing it out as it has a large hole near the edge and was absolutely filthy with years upon years if dirt on it but because I received it from a loved one I thought I had better look in to it. The company collected it from me and explained that it was actually a fairly valuable item and it could be cleaned and repaired if I wished. I went ahead not expecting too much but when it was delivered back to me the difference was astounding. The colours are about 50 shades brighter and the hole has been mended in a way that I cannot believe. If you didn't know where to look you wouldn't even spot that there had been a repair. I'm genuinely blown away by the quality of their work and would not have believed it eve possible to repair a rug to this standard. I'm delighted!
I had an old silk rug cleaned that has been with me from for many years and was nervous about how it would cope being cleaned given it was so old. Andrew reassured me that their cleaning process was very delicate and explained how everything would work. Just over a week later my rug was returned and I could hardly believe it was the same rug. It was spotless and the colours were so vivid. I'm so glad that I've had it cleaned now and just wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.
This company was very honest and easy to deal with. On examination of my rug they told me how the repair would be carried out and how it would look once the work was done. The end result really surpassed my expectations. The cost of the work was fair given the hours they must have put in and I would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs a delicate antique rug repaired.
