Cosy halal restaurant in a busy area of Soho. Food was delicious, service was excellent. The food comes out as it's prepared so you may get appetizers after the entrée. The beef in the beef rendang was a little tough but tasted great. Roti canai is always good. The Raffle Singapore laksa was ok, I've had better. Tiolets are clean but up a steep staircase. They have a great restaurant manager. Recommend.
Authentic Malaysian Cuisine at its finest. I visited the new location just a stone throw away from original restaurant in China Town. A lot more modern in decor but I do miss the charm of the previous restaurant. Laaksar noodle was fantastic, the broth had a deep richness from the prawn and coconut milk. Stir fry beef was also delicious with a generous portion of rice and steamed broccoli. What makes this a stand out restaurant is that it is fully halal menu with no pork however, they now serve alcohol on site which is disappointing and would deter me from visiting or recommending to family and friends! Pricier than previous location but I guess it’s just a sign of the times.
My favourite restaurant! Have been coming here for years and it never fails to impress. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have the hardest time trying to choose what to eat!
Good old Rasa Sayang. If you’re after a quick, filling meal before the theatre look no further. Don’t expect a fine dinning experience here. These guys know what good Malaysian food taste likes, and they serve it well and they serve it quickly. It can get a little busy sometimes so be prepared to wait if you arrive at peak time. You really can’t go wrong.
