Great platform and I was enjoying using it until one day out of nowhere Saxo emails me and tells me because I have dual nationality (with British being my SECOND nationality), I am no longer eligible to use the trading platform and that I can no longer trade and my positions will be liquidated within 30 days. After desperately trying to reach them to contest and understand how this can be the case, I gave up given hours waiting on the phone as the third caller in line (for 2 hours) and no response to email. I have since established a brokerage account with another provider and I am trying to get my stocks transferred form saxo but saxo is not responding now to them. Terrible and frighteningly unresponsive customer service, I would highly recommend to avoid.

Good selection of stocks, unfortunately let down by severe admin errors and a really appalling customer service. They went through a stellar growth recently, so probably they don't care. I transferred an ISA from Barclays UK to them, the money disappeared and it was untraceable for almost 3 months! Saxo kept blaming Barclays, which executed the transfer correctly, god knows why Saxo could not locate the money. It took me dozens of calls and emails to have Saxo to sort it out. I complained to the financial Ombudsman, and I have asked Saxo to come back to me to understand where the process failed, because I was interested to invest an additional significant sum of money, but my confidence was eroded by this ordeal. THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO REPLY. This tells you all. Not a wise idea to neglect your customers and their problems.

I see that Saxo trading is named after Anglo Saxon slave traders. All they do is take your money and make you jump through 1000 hoops to withdraw your money. I first contacted them about taking my money out on the 15th of December and it’s the 22nd of January, when I had to spend 1 hour on the phone at 10pm at night to get a withdrawal option on my account. This was after several multi hour phone calls. The stats are: 22 January 50 minutes 15 January 37 minutes 13 January 40 minutes 5 minutes 3 minutes 2 hours and 37 minutes 23 minutes 8 January 1 hour and 7 minutes 58 minutes When I have multiple timings on a date that means I made several phone calls. Saxo trading is abysmal never use them.

Fantastic platform let down badly by shockingly bad customer service. Currently have two support tickets open that have had no response or acknowledgement of any kind after 5 weeks. On platforms such as this bad customer service can represent money lost and/or lost opportunities. If customer service is important to you think carefully before using Saxo.

Stable and easy to work platform, when you know it. You can find what you are looking for quickly and I especially like the huge range of products even though I'm mostly into stocks trading.
