Generally a great experience, service was a little bit slow, but still on time. Food was really well made and really tasty. The price was exceptional! There's a 50% discount on the weekend and you still get the best value for your money. One of the good places that is worth a visit if you're in Canary Wharf.

Don’t come here if you need a quick meal, ordering from the set menu and waited 45 minutes for starters alone. The venue was relatively empty although there had been a larger group in front of us (makes one wary of ever booking their Christmas lunch). Service in general was pretty inattentive, trying to get serving staff’s attention was often difficult. So we waited 45 minutes for the starters, another 20 minutes passed and we got mains... but the order was wrong. 5 minutes later we got the right order. Which begs the question of how did things take so long? From listening in to other diners our experience was shared. Food quality was nothing to be impressed about, 4 for a handful of olives out of a jar left a disappointing and briny taste in the mouth. The house burger tasted no better than anything from a high street chain. They were at least speedy with the bill, but no effort to reduce it even with the long waiting time. In conclusion, poor value for money, extremely slow service and middling to average food at best.
I wanted to order salmon but they didn't have at the time.So I chose spicy vegetables rice dish.It was good.
Good service, great location, but I wouldn't rate the steaks and the food that high. It was very average, I might go there again but I wouldn't put Smollensky on my list.
We were a bit late - enjoyed the dinner in the rooftop restaurant. Service was good and friendly. The two/three course menu is good value for money. I liked the scallops with their spicy sauce. This was followed by the bavette, well cooked to order (medium rare). Probably I'd better choose for the side salad instead of the fries... We didn't have space left for the dessert but a nice coffee did it for us. No pictures of the dishes but we liked the decorative lit trees near Canary wharf Station
Their entrecote steak, despite a bit thin, was cooked medium perfectly, priced reasonably and came with free malbec wine. Tried their baked spinach and ricotta cannelloni, which was a good vegetarian option and (again) got free brownie ala mode because the dessert we ordered was no longer available.
Very friendly staff and delicious food.
Came down for a Xmas party/lunch and had ordered from the set menu. The salmon pate was decent although could have done with a little more. The main roast turkey with trimmings was good and portion size was just right. Apple tarte tatin was also good. Overall wasn't wowed but at least it wasn't a let down but from the looks of some of the other food being brought out from the main menu probably would go for that instead. The drinks on the other hand was a little weird. Although the prosecco was really nice the mojito tasted as though it was missing something and other cocktails and mocktails weren't the best.
