The design and creativity of all sophie's work is outstanding. Her knowledge of stained glass is exceptional. As demonstrated on BBC master crafts and work installed all around the globe you can only expect the best. From houses to castles, from churches to cathedrals, you will find sophie's work every where with the same signature of excellence. No challenge is too great for her. If you need anything to do with stained glass you must enquire.

DEAREST SOPHIE I loved being called Stained Glass friend. Yes, you were doing the right thing, your passion and care for your craft was so strong, and certain craft worlds can become so insular and protective instead of wanting to share this beautiful skill.I have never understood ARTISTS wanting to keep their skills so hidden as if by sharing it,it would dilute the beauty instead of enhancing peoples lives and opening them up to the wonder of colour and beauty. I too love colour. As a gardener i try to with plants and space what you manage to do with glass. You must do classes as you have a natural skill with people, but of course getting the balance right betweeen inspiring and teaching and saving enough time and energy for your own work is always the tricky bit! I know these are difficult times for all artisitic endeavours , everyone is so unsure of the future, thats why we need beauty even more! I recorded the programme from t.v. and have only got round to viewing it, freezing the frame when it shows your work and thinking HOW DOES SHE DO THAT!? I would have a house of stained glass if I could and f dream of having a mermaids and seawaves replacing a dull plain bathroom window and then theres the front door maybe little birds and weaves of flowers and grasses, and a skylight window of pure colours to glow down and bless people as they walked by ............... and on and on the dreams go, just need to get the money! Dont get too down and never allow anyone or anything to shrivel your heart! Best regards MARY AND BELLE (BELLE My mum who introduced me to stained glass when i was tiny!)
