I go in there for their cholla bread; I find the Kosher bread that is low in/lacking yeast does not cause irritation as per my gluten intolerance as with typical bread, particularly sliced bread or spelt flour bread. The staff there are efficient and friendly, but mostly rushed off their feet with the demand, so no time for chit chat. With their long opening times - I think there’s only a 2hour closing window from 3-5am, you can pop in there anytime and there is parking around the corner. I tend to always pop into Lidl across the road; you must have this bread with Lidl’s salt crystal butter if you’re being indulgent; if not, at least extra virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar. For best results, tear along its plait lines; using a knife ruins its handmade authenticity/rusticness (if that’s a word). I also buy doughnuts, rainbow bagels, cake slices etc for friends and family. Oh yeah, the bread freezes and thaws really well, back to perfection, so after it’s cooled down (it’s sold hot, hence the butter), if you don’t have teenagers, what’s left can go in the freezer. I bought some in 2020 before the pandemic, froze them, took them to Dubai where I was staying with friends and family in an apartment and they had some everyday for 5 days straight, oohing and aaahing - defrost, heat a chunk for 5-10 seconds in the microwave and bobs your uncle; back to leaving the shelf perfection. Everything is perfect! oh, except it’s ‘cash only’, but there is a PO cash point (ATM) as you exit the shop to your right.

Prepared to be rushed to order, and charged through the nose for a basic slice of cake. But despite that I keep going back for the delicious, freshly baked challah loaves and bagels. Skip the cake and pastries though, it's around 3.2 for most of them and they are often stale and underwhelming. Minimum charge of 5 if you are using card. So either bring cash or buy more. Staff can be very impatient and often don't wear gloves or handle cash with the same gloves as the food. I haven't seen them wearing masks either which isn't ideal all things considered.

New and very lovely place by Finsbury Park Underground Station. Great new mini cakes with raspberry, cream, caramel or blueberries. I normally get the orange gluten-free cupcake.

First time I had a strawberry tart in this bakery it was good however the chocolate eclair was dry I had to threw it away after one bite. Went back yesterday for a strawberry tart it was different from the first I had, disappointing with one strawberry cut in half for 3.20 sorry I don’t call this a strawberry tart but a joke. The blond lady serving also rude no hi, no smile and she makes you feel like you need to rush to choose what you want. I’ll definitely not go again.

I’ve bought 3 different items. Absolutely dry and tasteless. Looks like they keep the food on display more then 3-4 days... plus is expensive.
