My teenage son was initially reluctant to sign up but since he started he's enjoyed every session and has increased his ability to put forward his point of view in a measured way. He finds the topics exciting and engaging and enjoys the interaction with the other students as well as the guidance from the tutors. The actors make the role play real and relevant. My son describes the way they carry out the activities online with the group as 'slick'. Overall I would recommend it as very professional.

My son has attended a half term of JLC workshops and has thoroughly enjoyed all of them. They teach some extremely valuable life skills and techniques to that will really help to improve their speaking skills. My son has already grown in confidence and will continue to attend workshops. I really recommend your child to join.

When lockdown struck and my son couldn't attend his school debate club anymore I thought I'd try and find an online club for him... and bingo! JLC came up as the obvious choice as he's interested in both public speaking and law. He loves his sessions and learns so much, I'm sure it's going to stand him in good stead through life.

I have been attending JLC sessions for a while now - pre and during lockdown. I have attended sessions in the classroom as well as online (once COVID had striked). I found both types of sessions to be extremely helpful and very immersive. These sessions have helped me in improving my debating and overall articulation skills. The instructors are very helpful and I would most definately reccommend these sessions to anyone who wants to improve their debating and overall public speaking skills!

My daughter started attending the Junior Lawyers' Club when she was in primary school and continued in high school. Throughout this period, she became more confident in expressing her opinion and logical in structuring her arguments. The JLC is brilliant in choosing engaging and interesting topics for debates and does it through a unique programme developed by lawyers and delivered by actors. It is not just another debate club for my daughter, it is her favourite club that makes her think, be good at persuading others, work with her voice to sound more assertive and also act.
