I saw Professor John Axford many years ago for neck pain . I suffer with neck pain my profession is a dog grooming so I suffer with neck pain.He gave me a thorough examination and injected my neck and gave me really good exercise to do at home ,which have stood me in good stead after seeing him . He also did a blood test as he picked up on my constant tiredness. Thank god he did. I had very a bad Iron deficiency. I had to have two iron infusions, afterwards I started to get myself back to how I used to be. I have continued to see Professor Axford over the years for my joint problems. When ever I see him he has picked up on major health issues . Each time has referred me to a top expert to help me get better. Professor Axford has an amazing knowledge and Years of experience. He also has a lovely manner and really cares and look after you . Even if he refers you to someone else ,he always calls or writes to make sure your happy ,and on the mend. I have recommended him so many times to friends and family all who have come back to me to say thanks for recommending him. To give a good steroid injection You have to be very experienced and skilled all of which Professor Axford has abundance of.

Absolutely awful don't recommend Dr Axford went to see him suffering from severe pain completely dismissed and recommended to not see anymore drs and have therapy as there was nothing wrong. A week later I saw another rheumatologist who disagreed. Also wrote a letter that was not truthful saying other drs thought I was well, when in fact they had concerns that I was ill and needed a rheumatologist to find cause
