First time in there people are friendly big space garden is big lovely food watched football in there plus they have a darts room I would recommend this pub 5 star all the way

Walked into the pub and was welcomed by a friendly staff member. He showed me and my friend out into the beer garden. He took us to a nice table and took our drinks order and gave us our food menus. I had the honey and mustard sausages and cheesy chips and my friend had the king prawns both of which were very nice. From start to finish we had a very enjoyable experience and will certainly be going back there again.
The Rookwood is an amazing local pub. Clean, spacious and lovely staff. Good variety of food, wines, beers & spirits. Family friendly suits all age groups. Also accepts dogs as well.
I've been to the Rockwood a few times now and every time it's been a great experience, mostly due to the staff, they can't do enough to help, I highly recommend this pub
Cute place, nice outdoor space, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The menu's a little bit busy which can make actually picking something a daunting task, but the food we had was pretty decent when it arrived (sadly save for the vegan scampy). Still, very decent place and a welcome addition to the area!
Went to try this new pub a few times now, to give it a chance before writing about it. The place itself & service are lovely, unfortunately the food is a total let-down. Pizza and Burgers are not complicated, why not just have 3 good ones instead of 12 terrible options each. Barely edible unless you're completely drunk.
Superb, newly refurbished pub just by Wanstead flats. Good selection of craft beers and ales as well as plenty of the usual suspects. Food is excellent, menu is predominantly burgers or pizza, but both are really great freshly prepared fare. They have a nice beer garden/courtyard area at the back which in COVID times has made for a good safe option for a pleasant drink as they've put up a marquee with heaters. Dogs are actively welcomed with bowls, treats and even little beds available for furry friends. Staff are consistently welcoming and friendly, service is impeccable and their app makes ordering at your table a breeze for when you don't want to go to the bar.
