I love it here. I first came a few years ago when I lived in new cross. And now I’m back close it’s my go to again. I’ve never eaten here and had a bad time. The wine is all delicious no matter what you order. Favourite favourites are the goulash!!!! And the sauerkraut cabbage ball things that are incredible. Lovely owner has a great vibe about him and is welcoming if not always busy :) it’s a great place. Highly recommend.

Great authentic Hungarian cuisine! The restaurant interior reminds me of a typical Hungarian cozy restaurant. The owner is extremely nice and it really shows he wants to please the guests! Will definitely be coming back
Lovely cosy place with a ton of charm and hearty traditional food. Great for winter evenings and really well priced.
Really really enjoy this place for a chilled night out to eat, talk and relax. Foods good though not a large choice. Service and welcome is wonderful
Always wanted to go to this restaurant having moved to new cross during lockdown - it's opened since and we popped in for a meal, having seen all the great reviews! Not too sure about the reviews about service - as we were greeted rather lukewarmly, the server forgot our drinks, then forgot one of our side dishes, then charged us for it on our bill as well as service. Not at all pedantic about service but wanted to say something as it seemed strangely poor. Food was nice, but nothing to write home about.
