I genuinely don't know how this restaurant has positive reviews. I gave this place a try for takeaway for the first and last time yesterday. I got efo egusi and efo riro with pounded yam. If you ask for only cow foot pieces you get just 2 pieces of meat otherwise you would get 3 pieces. This makes for a ridiculously small portion considering you're paying 8 for a regular size container. Both stews were so bland, it was the most flavourless Nigerian food we've ever had When I served it to my partner the first thing he said was \where's the flavour?\. There was no smoked fish or prawns in the egusi. The efo riro had a nice amount of spinach in but was also very bland and the tomatoes in it still tasted really raw as if they hadn't bothered to cook it down. The pounded yam was good. 2/5

I ordered some food from here for the first time today. It was the worst aya mashe I've ever had. It was extremely oily and they didn't even fry the oil till it was clear so it just smelt and tasted like palm oil. It was so red I thought it was stew at first. I will not be ordering from here again.

Had the soya jerk and it was insanely good. Guy running it was really nice too. Only thing is there was an excessive amount of plastic tubs, for sauces, etc. I didn’t really need/want all of them, and it felt wasteful. This is true of most places in London so I’m still leaving a 5 star review, but would love if found some way to reduce the plastic next time
