I always liked shopping in this charity shop but today’s visit kinda shocked me. This security guy was going around the shop and getting to everyone’s way. Then he stands by the main door by that half part that opens so when people saw him standing there they tried to open the other part of the door that was locked. They didn’t do nothing else then left because they thought the shop is closed. After many customers left this lady tries opening the door but he kept standing there looking at her and not moving away. She slides around him and after that he finally moves away. In that moment I decided to leave the shop when he tried to go back to his spot so he comes quickly next to me lightly pushing me away. I understand that being a security guy can be boring but stand atleast somewhere in the corner if you really don’t enjoy it. Not in front of the door. Definitely not coming back.
BE CAREFUL ABOUT BRANDS I have shopped here a few times and sometimes they sell items that are quite expensive for a thrift store because they are from a certain brand or just high quality. So generally I do like the store but this last experience changed things for me. About a month ago I bought a Mulberry purse that was in the locked cabinet in the back of the store. The purse had quite some damage to it and cost me 60. I thought this was ok because I was planning on getting it repaired and giving it a second life, but when I took it to the store to get it fixed, they laughed in my face because it turned out it was a fake. I was left very disappointed and a bit embarrassed. Now I’m not saying the shop can’t sell me a fake purse but with the purse being in a locked cabinet with other high end items they did give me the impression it was the real deal.
