Really nice old fashioned station with a lot of original glazed tiling. Not good for accessibility and I guess the main stairways in to the station get hazardous in wet/icy conditions. Station clean and tidy and as I keep commenting TFL are doing a very good job with our London public transport system

Have used it for 10 years. Open nearly all of the time and closures are rare. Train is normally every 2 minutes and goes up to Harrow and into Central London. Two escalators, one on each side going up and down, never have any issues. There is also a central staircase in case. Staff are always present on station. There are 3 ticket machines and a little shop with drinks and snacks. Unfortunately there are steps at the start down to the ticket area and no lift down to the platform.
Stepping out find no external station building here other than a ventilation shaft. An angular modern (1976) church with a distinct narrow spire and a green cabman's shelter at the intersection with an impressive swank of elegant properties on one of London's widest streets. Sedate and salubrious.
good tube station, not too busy!
