Do they have less than 1 star? Do not use Better! You never can reach them. Waterfront was closed for renovation for 3 weeks. They emailed customers to promise refund. But they never made it happen! Still own us refund! Their teacher called you and agreed we are not going back at the moment but they still put you in any random dates to continue swimming course. You never can reach them on the phone or email! I have lost 2 month 2 kids swimming courses money! Waste money and time!!! AVOID BETTER! POOR MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE. Very cold water swimming pool, change room is dirty! If you do not want be sick, do not go there!

Great place to take kids swimming. Water was a bit cold when you get in but was fine by after a few minutes and getting your shoulders under like most pools. Good to have different pools to do what you want so kids dont get in the way of adults wanting to do lane swimming. Staff were friendly, helpful and also dont judge 30 year old men having a go down the water slides. The building could do with a bit of work done to it but its nothing major and you dont really notice when your kids in the water laughing and splashing having fun. Parking is 2 minutes on powis street.

Tried to contact them as have an appointment but cant make it and there is no way to get through to someone they have 6 options and none go through to anyone to be able to cancel and rebook. Complete joke if ask me am feeling to tell them to shove the course where the sun dont shine

Absolutely freezing water, definitely not 29 degrees. Very rude staff, who were not helpful at all and felt rather discriminated by them. Very unclean, changing rooms and pool looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Only highlight was the warm showers. Abismnal experience would,not recommend.

Learned how to swim here and have had fun times in the pool, so it served its purpose in more ways than one. Just feel the pool needs to be cleaned more often as I've seen gross things floating in the pool that I dare not write about Also wet changing rooms need to be checked and cleaned more often as can be quite filthy at times (this probably says more about the users than anything else, but Better Gyms needs to sort this out as basic cleanliness/hygiene is Standard) 100% Chlorine pools not the safest for many reasons....but if you don't mind this, Better Gyms Woolwich is a good place to start your fitness journey, is fun for kids and reasonably priced.

Used to do swimming lessons here from June 2014 to late 2015. The staff were nice and the facilities were alright.
