Terrible customer service. I tried to send money to India. Any amount higher than 1000.00, they cannot process. They don’t have a capable back up service. Moreover they never contact you if they are not able to process the transaction. Unfortunately there is no phone number that we can call and it such a pain to explain them. I will never advise anybody to use this service.

OVER 10,000 DOLARS GONE FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT....AND I CAN'T GET THAT MONEY BACK! 19 days waiting for my transfer (which is from my own bank account, to another MY bank account too); 63 emails received from WORLD REMIT; 65 emails sent to them; 24 phone calls I made, totaling 8:44 hours of calls. They asked me to fill out a form and send it to them. They sent me the form in Spanish (I don't speak Spanish, and I requested the form in English). It took them 2 days to send me the form in English (after many calls and emails I made). I returned the form immediately, and called immediately, there were countless calls and emails (they insisted on saying that they didn't receive the form) .... I just gave up when they said: YES, WE RECEIVED! After that, it was 2 days of calls that I made, and they saying that everything was already with their partner company, but no amount was credited to my account. The last call I made (yesterday), they asked for the date to be included in the form, I returned this email in 2 emails that they provided me 6 times, and they say they did not receive it (this happened also on the third day of the transaction, they keep saying they didn't receive your email). They said that it was probably a technical problem, and that they would return to me in 30 minutes (that's been over 24 hours) ..... I'm already going to the phone now to continue with my SAGA ... REALLY UNBELIEVABLE SO LACK OF RESPECT!

They are no longer sending money to Nigeria but keep deceiving the good citizens of Nigerian that they are. Their service is making things very difficult for loved ones in Nigeria. They send money in dollars and then the bank refuses to give the customer the value of that dollar. Avoid worldremit!

People using this service should be extra careful that there is a high chance that your money goes missing. Don't be fooled by the fake review campaign they have here with fake accounts. I have sent 6,500 to a freelancer. It's over 2 month the money has gone. The guy never received it. And in their system only said under review for a week. And after that the whole transaction disappeared.
