Rolling Hills

It was my girlfriends birthday today and went in to buy two cups of mulled wine. The mulled wine was lovely in fact, but tainted by a bullish Irish lass with a wasp up her nose; The manger. She was incredibly curt, and demanded us off of her property exclaiming she’ll loose her licence due to Covid sanctions. All I can say is she needs to learn a bit of grace and decorum and be schooled on how to talk to people in a civil manner. Good luck, hope your business survives.

Great selection of natural wines, I’m a big orange wine drinker and was really impressed. Service was subpar though - one of those places where they make you feel like they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to give them 50 pounds. I’d like to go back but I’ll stick to stores with friendlier staff!

Really great local wine shop with a wide range of new and old world natural and organic wines from smaller producers and Bethnal Green Winery Renegade. There’s also a plethora of delicious deli items (great to make up your own Xmas hampers for friends and family) and the option to drink in (or out on the terrace if weather allows). Staff are knowledgeable about the wine and really cheerful. Look out for their free tastings too!

Some of the best natural wines. Went for a friend’s birthday drinks, and it was a lovely evening, with nice cheese and charcuterie boards and attentive service.
