The Bogside and Bloody Sunday walking tour of Derry was one of the best tours I and my family have ever been on. Gleann Doherty provided us with fascinating insights based on a deep knowledge of the history of the area and the wider context in a very accessible way. He kept our party of adults and teenagers highly engaged throughout, it was particularly striking to learn how most of the participants in and victims of this story were of similar age to the young people with us on our tour. Gleann also shared us a very personal connection to these tragic events that was deeply moving and places this tour on an entirely different level to any other we have experienced anywhere. It was the highlight of our trip and we haven't stopped talking about it since. If you are in Derry you must do this tour. And if you're not in Derry you should go.
