Got fish and chips from here 4 or 5 times over the last year. Always good. Can phone order through our just turn up. Pick up is through a window, so nicely Covid safe. Too many chips for us. Fish nicely cooked. Mushy peas good. Nice little cafe type seating area indoors for non Covid times.

Not a pleasant experience, Called today with a view to bringing other driving club members ,wont now be bothering. Ordered 2 lightly battered fish ,1 chips and gravy , and a large portion of peas,all seperate ,as we explained we were sharing.The lady serving couldnt grasp ,or didnt want to, understand . Not a friendly approach overall. Instead she insisted giving us 2 chips and fish ,in a box ,and peas . And not lightly battered as requested The fish didnt seem fresh appeared to be frozenish as it was as stiff as a board going into the oil .also this chippy leaves skin on one side, I dont like that personally ,others may . I gave 1* and my wife 2/3* ,hence the 2*,overall rating Only positive the chips were tasty ,

My favourite fish and chip shop, I go out of my way to call in. Ordered at the hatch then waited in the car for the haddock to be cooked. Lovely fish and chips delivered to the car by friendly staff.

After a very damp walk grabbed a take away from here, reasonable prices and tasty. Set up is very good, can sit in the cafe or they have a hatch so you can order from outside. Just make sure you have cash on you as they don't accept cards.
