Over the years we’ve had several clocks which have needed servicing, and wouldn’t consider sending them to anyone else other than the team at Loomes & Co! The staff are extremely knowledgeable in their craft. Turn around time was quicker than expected. The enamel restoration is of a very high standard too. Flawless experience, professional team, excellent customer service and a pleasure to work with. 6 stars

This truly excellent firm has carried out some very complicated repair work on an antique clock belonging to my family The work has been of the highest possible standard and the result is breathtaking. Very professional service however I wanted to feed back that my clock, which after inspection, Loomes quoted between 1000 and 1,200 to fix, was repaired by another clock specialist for less than 200. I appreciate the points Loomes make in responses to other, similar reviews, however security / training / tools etc cannot justify charging 3, 4, 5 or in my case 6 times the price. If you have a clock to repair then I recommend you get more quotes and then make your decision. Edited - You are right in your reply. I meant to give 3 stars and so have corrected. I am sure the service is good, but 6 times the price is not justifiable in my opinion. And my clock was completely overhauled, not just "getting it running" as you say.
Extremely good service had my 1959 Hamilton pacer in for service and repair took a few months to get right now it is incredibly accurate for a 60 year old first electric watch fantastic service top repair team First class

As with everything in life, you get what you pay for. But very occasionally it is possible to stumble on that very rare thing - good old fashioned service. In Robert Loomes we found someone who was prepared to give a little of his valuable time plus the wealth of his experience without mentioning that dirty word money. We shall always be grateful to Robert for his help and kindness when all we needed was a little advice and guidance.
