I go here quite often as I take a tenant of mine I support as he loves it here. The food is very nice good quality and very generous portions!! With everything going on at the moment its very spacious in there seating wise, being able to keep your 2metre distance from others! You can rather order through an app on your phone or they will come over and take your order! Definitely a great place. Again food is lush from here, the breakfasts are the best!

I was under a little time pressure having worked the graveyard shift & I was looking for a good breakfast. I pulled into j23 truck stop for a feed and was delighted to get a takeaway breakfast . The restaurant seating was closed because of covid but the standards of the takeaway breakfast was superb and not compromised in any way. I would have liked the time to browse the shop but I’ll leave that to another day. Thumbs up to j23 truck stop. Great breakfast, friendly efficient staff.

Lots of space to park up. We only stopped to fuel up the truck and ourselves! Spotlessly clean inside and out. Cafe was immaculate despite being busy. We had two cheese, ham and salad sandwiches and two coffees for 6, the hot food smelt amazing and the curry I saw being dished up looked great. They have a separate lounge area with a fully stocked purpose built bar, lots of very comfy looking seats and a stage.

I stopped there for the first time overnight on August Bank holiday Monday and will never ever stop there again. The parking area was full of Eastern European drivers, who like to stay in groups, talking and shouting late into the night disturbing everyone else who is trying to sleep. The parking area is used as a base by several UK truck companies to park thier trucks, and one of which is a waste carrier ( or green environmental haulier as they like to call themselves ) As I parked up and climbed out of the cab, I was met by the stinking overpowering smell coming from the back of the numerous 'bin lorries' parked around the site. That combined with the smell of urine blowing around the yard, was a truly horrendous cocktail. As it was bank holiday Monday, the cafe was closed but they still charged me 20 to park allthough i couldn't even get a cup of tea !! This is 2020, most Truck stops have moved on from the 1980's and provide clean, welcoming facilities and better value for money but this one clearly hasn't. On the plus side, the site was easy to find, and the washing facilities were good, and very clean. In a nutshell, if you want a disturbed nights sleep with foreign drivers shouting all night, and the aroma of a toilet crossed with a bin lorry, then this is the place for you. For me, I would have been better off in a lay by and won't make that mistake again.

Well done in turning a good uk truck stop in to a Eastern European campsite! 38 quid to park in the Midlands for UK drivers?? Noisy drunk unit drivers spending nothing at all in diesel, shop, bar and cafe? 4 out of 5 toilets blocked! Snap! I'll never stop here again!
