Doesn't worth it As everyone said already the screens are small, sound terrible and pretty much satisfaction is not a key issue. Also a bottle of water costs more then having a bier in a pub. Only ok deal on Tuesdays I guess.

Visited the cinema today and on the way in saw a friend who said it was freezing in there. I asked the assistant if it was likely to warm up and she said yes - it didn't. I know work is going on there but surely it shouldn't be open if they can't get the temperature correct. Incidentally it was in a different theatre we viewed the film - Les Miserable

If you're lucky to get one of the larger screens it's not too bad a cinema. However get the smaller screen and you might as well be sat looking at your TV. In addition the sound wasn't good, and the hearing unit rattled on through the whole film.

First of all, I must correct one of the other reviewers who said it was once a theatre. That is not true - it was always a cinema but originally just one very large screen. I have been using this cinema for well over forty years and until recently was fairly happy with it - when it was the Curzon, there were issues with sound quality, heating etc but it was an independent, long-established local institution where there was a good selection of films with a good turnover and it was friendly and most importantly, very reasonably priced! Things started to go down a bit when it became Reel, but it was still okay. However, since it became part of the Odeon chain it has changed much for the worse - prices have rocketed, the selection of films is awful and the attitude of the staff now stinks. Strange because some have been there for years! I never thought I would say this - if you are paying multiplex prices, you might as well go to one! Avoid this cinema!

Visited and watched Rise of planet of apes, sat in cinema 4, it smelt of pee. Sound too much bass, and crackly. Only 8 people in and they sat 6 together. Crappy night for me and Mrs for 6.10 per head.
