My partner and I ate here last weekend for the second time in 3 weeks and we will be going back a lot! This is only a small restaurant and is soon due to move into the premises next door (so the manager told us on our last visit). Next door is currently a Thai restaurant and apparently they are not going anywhere, after the move it will be Indian downstairs and Thai on the first floor (or maybe vice versa). How this is going to work I'm not sure. It will certainly not increase the capacity of the Indian part so I'd advise booking in advance as they always seem busy. The food is good quality and in large portions. Popadoms are served still warm with dips, naan breads are light and fluffy (I hate dried out overcooked/burnt naan!) and meats are tender. I'm a spice freak and I had the chicken naga with extra green chillies. The waiter gave me a "are you sure?" look when I asked but it came just as I ordered and it was fantastic. My partner had the butter chicken and that was also very good. We had a vegetable byriani to share instead of a rice dish each and there was plenty to go round with the added bonus of a tasty curry sauce as a side dish. My partner doesn't like coriander and always asks for no garnish on her food wherever we go for an Indian. This seems to be too much to ask in a lot of places and she gets it anyway but not here. Service is attentive and friendly and everything we asked for we got. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great!
