Wow ! I cannot explain just how much this pub exceeded my expectations. Utterly fabulous menu, simple, easy to read and something for everyone. The staff were all warm, friendly and welcoming in what truly is a family and dog friendly environment. The food, oh my word the food.....just outstanding, and lots of it. Good range of beer and cider on draft, as well as the usual bottles and spirits. Such a great place to stop for a meal, reasonably priced, and an absolute gem of a find. Half a dozen bottles of single malt whisky behind the bar and i dont think that I would want to leave. If you only have one bar meal this year....it should be here.

Myself and my daughter had lunch here this afternoon & i literally cannot speak highly enough of this pub. The place is lovely the staff were absolutely brilliant and friendly and then the food was quite simply 10/10 and i still think that doesn't do it the justice it deserves , the portions were huge too.. Thankyou to all the Wheatsheaf for making our Sunday lunch extra special, we'll be back very very soon that's for sure!!
