Beautiful in the heart of the forest. Kids and adults love it.

A most pleasant way to enjoy the Forest and have a BBQ. The site has purpose built stands for those BBQ packs you buy at a garage or supermarket so little danger of accidents. It's great for families or couples who wish to eat out under the trees without worrying about the risk of fire.

Nice and beautiful natural scenes. Kids love it. Nice and prepared place for BBQ.

Great picnic area at Bolderwood Car Park. Barbecues are permitted (bring a disposable one). Toilets and walks up to 2 miles long near the Deer Park opposite. Ticket machine not working when I was there, but FC only asking for a voluntary donation.
