Great walk through the woods with wonderful views of the coast.
"CROCK POINT".. Is definitely not the easiest of places to navigate to, with the nearest single track road being perched high over a steep drop of trees, so best you concentrate on the road, not the view.. You could get lost in the woods, as you slowly descend, walking toward the noisy shore line.. Best prepare your self for any eventuality, if you do not like that wooden path during day light, then imagine how you will feel after sunset, in the dark.. You might even see a "MERMAID" to bid you farewell on your hard climb ascent.. Could have been a 'CROCODILE'.. No, was definately a "MERMAID".. "CROCK POINT".. Next stop "VALLEY OF THE BIG ROCKS", visited by several famous poets, etc.. One Artist composed, wrote a memorable piano piece, "Valley of the Rocks", after visiting some of the oldest "DEVONIAN ROCKS" in North Devon..
A great place for a walk.
