I've been using this butcher's for 30 years and my mum and nan used them before me. They are great guys always giving me the best deals and the steaks are better than the steakhouses in Brighton I get 25 worth of fillet steak and get a perfect cut which I get around 25 portions of amazing steak out of it. What I don't get is how they manage to keep the price down but I'm not complaining. Keep up the good work guys your much appreciated

Excellent find as don't live in this area. Very impressed by this traditional butchers. Like the open plan arrangement. Fast freindly excellent service today and I've been in a few times now. Lovely quality meats and excellent choice Highly recommended. I Have been put off my local Butcher in Kemp Town and also more expensive for my budget. Thankyou
Great prices. Top meat! A real shop that is hard to find these days.
Great prices and service
The staff are friendly and knowledgable. However, the meat often tastes “off” or old and lacks fresh texture. If also feels frozen and watery. I have stopped shopping here.
I have used Graham and his team at M & B Meats for over 20 years and have always received fantastic customer service, expert advice, an excellent selection of quality meats and superb value for money. I have recommended Graham to friends in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
One extra star for the friendliness of the guys behind the counter. But what they sell is absolutely the worst kind of food - it's cheap, yes, sometimes shockingly so, but the quality control has gone right out of the window. Sausages taste like they've been made with sawdust and the sludge from the dishwasher filter outlet; cheese is outrageously chemical-tasting and their eggs seem to have come from the most traumatised caged hens on the planet. Weirdly they also sell duck and quail eggs, surely out of keeping with the cheapo ethos of the rest of the stock..? Worst of all, every time I've bought pork scratchings from this shop, despite the fact they're in a sealed packet well within the expiry date, they're always nearly totally soft and crunch-less. Other shops in town who sell the same brand (usually 15p cheaper) manage to keep theirs crunchy - what's going on, M&B??
got some rumps steak and chicken in there was much better quality than in other shops and much cheaper really recommend the place !
