Visited this dealership to have a look at the Vitara, but after walking around for 20 minutes no one asked what we are up to. Why to look for a sales person and after finding one we asked him about to tell us about the car a bit. The information was on the level of: "it comes in manual and automatic". The guy had no clue about the cars and clearly didn't want us there. Ended up buying a Honda 2 days later.

Having clearly explained that my car potentially has a head gasket problem when booking it for 21st December, and having been thoroughly assured that the work could be completed before Christmas, today I am informed that this is not the case. The service manager very indignantly informed me that I 'could not expect them to fix the car before Christmas - after all a head gasket is 4000 of work!' (what a rip off). He said that the earliest they could fix the car would be January... and refused to give me a replacement car; leaving me without a car to visit family over Christmas. Had I have been told this at the time of booking in, I would have made contingency plans. If you really HAVE to use this garage (and I really would not, due to their terrible communication, rudeness and poor customer service) - GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. The people who answer the phone are making promises they cannot keep and the service manager clearly doesn't care less - not a hint of an apology in sight. This has ruined my Christmas plans - thanks Maidenhead Suzuki - for nothing. There are better garages out there who actually value their customers.
