Avoid David Lloyd clubs as you would Covid-19! For a start your 3 month notice period does not take affect unless made on the 1st of every month, complete con to make sure you pay for an extra month’s membership. This does the company no favours as it simply shows they are desperate to keep any members they can. This club is dirty. Used equipment is cleaned with dirty gloves, so no cleaning actually takes place. Therefore Covid-19 is not killed off any of their equipment. I suggest you use your own gloves or wipe down everything you touch yourself. As mentioned numerous times on here, parking is not free, gym is small, equipment is tired and if you want a place in their cycle class don’t hold your breath! Members who have obtained a place don’t even show up the majority of the time. All sensible members have handed in their notice or have already left as this club has had its day and there are far better clubs around, for value and experience. Don’t waste your time!

I have been n a member at David Lloyd for many years and will continue to do so. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the gym is awesome it has certainly become a huge part of my life ! I recommend you try it

Awesome gym recommend 10/10 how ever the changing rooms coming in from the pool were pretty chilli but other than that it’s worth the money

David Lloyd are money grabbing, avoid at all costs. Due to covid they extended contracts and did not allow people to come out of contract before time despite not being able to use the facilities due to self isolation and loosing jobs etc. I would advise anyone not to join as they are not being socially responsible in these dark times.

Club is clean and staff is really nice and friendly. However, it has a HUGE disadvantage - no free parking. If you are a member who comes in every day you could possibly end up paying 75 monthly for parking itself!

Pretty poor. The gym itself isn't too bad, but the changing & shower facilities are appalling, especially given the price you have to pay for a membership. I don't once think I've been in to the showers to find them clean, the soap/shower gel full or for the water to be warm. Staff are friendly & helpful. Recently attempted to cancel my membership and received no response from DL Maidstone and after reading some other reviews on this platform have cancelled my direct debit. Shambles.

It’s actually a really nice place! Clean & great selection of kit! Only reason why I would not give 5 star is because of the price but apart from that really good! Run by staff who actually know what they are doing & care about there current members!!! unlike some which will be nameless.
