Second visit not as good as the first. I had a good brekkie here on my way to a work hospital visit a few months ago. I work in mental health for the nhs and take this route regularly. I visited again today and was pleased to see an outdoor coffee stand in the car park for a quick COVID safe outside coffee stop. I enquired about card payments as I had little cash on me and was told I could pay inside or see if the cash machine in the garage had any money as it didnt the day before. Knowing I had the card as back up I ordered a coffee and went to get cash. The cash machine has gone. Whe I came back another employee from Mickeys came out as I was saying to the stand employee that I will go inside to pay and the other person said o its for customers only\ misundertsanding the situation that I was attempting to be a customer and not asking to use their toilets. She was corrected but told me its a five pound minimum spend by card. I had about a pound cash and it was a 1.50 black filter coffee that had been poured whilst I was checking for cash \ I can't do it darlin\ she said. I dont know what to do then I said I have wasted your cofee. I left. I won't be using this as my stop on this journey in future.
Great place to gather.. A favourite meeting point for Motorcycle and specialist car enthusiastse.. Makes an ideal stop over for those hunger needs. F Woodford MBE
Friendly service, nicely cooked food which come out fast. Nicely decorated with loads of seating room. Will definitely visit again
Great pit stop. Nice atmosphere with an innovative family run feel (no chain here). Good range of food and gave our dog extra special attention which was appreciated.
